I was listening to 200 balloons on the Hits/Bsides album and it got me thinking about the original Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic. As you know at the end of the 200 balloons song there is a snippet of the 1980s version of Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic. To me the vocal distortion sounds incredible and I would prefer it to the 1999 release (although I really dig that version too). Its also on the Bruce Wayne mix of Batdance.

I was just wondering if anyone had heard the original in its entirety and what it was like. I can remember someone mentioning that they thought the original was superior, but that's all. Could anyone give me more info on the tune and their opinion?
