To answer my own question, I'd say Emancipation. I agree with the people who said they didn't appreciate the sampled,"plastic" sound of the album. With the OMA/Musicology line up of the NPG, they could elevate this album to another level. On top of that, only about 10 of the 36 songs have been performed and best yet, it is a 3 hour collection.

My current number two pick is the underrated gem "Prince". Namely for the forgotten classics It's Gonna Be Lonely and Why U Wanna Treat Me So Bad? as well as the ever so popoular I Wanna Be Your Lover.

The Work Volumes 1-5. He'd be approaching near-fatal exhaustion at the end of it, but what a show it would be.

I'd have to go with 1999. I'd love to hear the NPG's take on Lady Cab Driver and Automatic.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Can I have 2? They are both short albums!

The Truth & One Night Alone.

Just Prince and a piano and a guitar.
(now that I can tolerate the guitar!) lol

I'd pick emancipation too, just cause it sucks less than all the rest of his albums.
Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. Haters are annoyed and roll thier eyes when klhk is paid a compliment. ask yourself, are u a hater?

ill No thanks, keep the horns AWAY from 1999! lol

I think I'll get very sugary now and say 'The Dream Factory' - as a kind of reunion concert, do the whole thing live, at a PP event, like the Celebration or something.

Failing that, I'd like to see The Black Album done, I think it has a great structure for a live show.

Crystal Ball including The Truth. It would be long. It would be varied. And just the chance to hear Don't Play Me and Third Eye in concert would be worth the price of admission.
I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.

Keep in mind that this is 2005 Prince and the NPG with 75 horn players, lyric changes and no swear words. Personally, I don't wanna hear Chance Howard screaming in place of Jill Jones on Lady Cab Driver. Rhonda Smith? Now that's another story!

In a perfect "Prince Fanatic World", it would be absolutely amazing to see and hear what he would come up with
for a concert dedicated to one album.
If he stopped studio recordings and just did this for every album from 'For You' and released a live dual-cd/dvd for every one, i would probably be alot more satisfied with his output. I would also be alot happier if i won the lottery.

oh, and he would have to stop censoring himself, too.
