Why can't i put the new songs on my iPod???

I've managed to put the other downloads (Slaughterhouse, Chocolate Invasion etc) on to a CD then onto my iPod before, but my iTunes won't pick up the CD i've burnt the new songs Satisfaction, Strange Relationship onto sad . Any ideas why? Are the new songs on a different format and if so how can i change it?????
