It doesn't matter to me much if it's a dark album or a happy album. Just so he's high when he records the next one.

Do you mean he smokes a joint and then picks up a guitar, or he is injecting heroin and then recording inbetween hits?

I think that Prince is vocally anti-drugs influences discussion about such topics amongst his fans (see also: Religion).

I don't think it's cool that you wish Prince would take up drugs. To each his own, but usually drugs don't do you good as a person on the long run. Might get new creative juices flowing, but still... I have seen people injecting heroin, and man, it's not a pretty sight. I don't even want to imagine Prince doing that

sounds like u have never done drugs ,or if u did ,u have had some sorta bad xperience with them,which is understandable,for some people shouldnt take drugs,,but for the enlightened minority,drugs are used to enhance lifestyle..im saying,used in moderation,its a great creativity stimulator .

and pretty much every musician and band that has acheived extraordinary record sales worldwide,,The doors,led zeppelin,jimi hendrix,bob marley,to name but a few 60s n 70s music pioneers,and to more recent NIRVANA,guns n roses.lip bizkit,korn,(although i think HEAD from korn is a lost cause after i saw him getting baptised in the middle east??!! ) ,and need i mention HIP HOP, as metal and rock has died in da ass.....which glorifies drugs (mostly marijuana) and makes the statement it is part of the culture..

are you saying drugs wouldnt enhance his amazing musical talents??

I think you are completely right in that he would make the album of his career--since all his stuff since the Black album (sans the Gold Experience) is Prince second guessing himself or building a "mystery" for himself in some wierd calculating mannner---even the "grove" of Musicology seems contrived.

i think it depends on the kind of the person he is ,,if he is extroverted,he may just nut it out,but if hes more introverted and quiet,it may be a dark broody album,gritty,even..

only sum1 who knows him,or even the man himself ,obviously could only answer this

I think Prince was more likely an introspective type , the obsessive personality and devotion to music all tie in with that type of guy I'd guess,though I think hes lightened up and is generally a lot happier now than he has been for a long while.

Prince is perhaps the only music that's sounds better to me when I'm straight than high.

There's too much pre-cognition in his playing (ie you can tell his BRAIN is working) in most of his music for it to be either druggy-sounding or good to listen to on drugs.

If you want music to listen to on drugs, go try the Mars Volta or something like that.

Prince's whole thing ain't about drugs...isn't it obvious?
