[b] after getting rid of my videos 2 dvd i got hold of a sign0 the times dvd advertising digital surround sound,but the picture is not digitally remastered.Its no better than watching from a video.The only +is u dont have to fastforward and rewind.i feel a bit let down ,does any 1 share my views?

I have the Canadian version of the dvd and all I can say is it's fantastic. The sound and picture quality is so much better than the video. I love it!

Well, you have the Dutch version that was released last year. I won't comment on whether or not you are a sucker, but a little searching on here or at Housequake would have let you know that the absolute best version is the one released in January this year by Alliance/Atlantis and at the moment a Canada only release. Excellent picture, correct aspect ratio as shown in the cinema and a top notch soundtrack.
Pick it up from www.amazon.ca and sell the other one on eBay.
