I was sickened by that performance. As soon as he mentioned Jehova, it was all over.

What an asshole.

Better only in the sense that it's general. But I'd be happy with him being spiritual instead of religious. Prince just seems to be seriously brainwashed cuz he's really pushing this bullshit.

not really. to say that a performance is "over" when somebody merely mentions a religious deity that they follow is by no means a work of intuition. that's flat out opinion. hopefully you didn't cry foul when p performed "god" during the purple rain tour, because that runs along the same line. same with "the cross".

God is general. No matter what religion people follow, they have some sort of God. But not everyone follows Jehova. I'm not happy about his new cult but, it's mostly because it's altered his music in a bad way. On that very show he censored two classic songs, and that's what I take issue with most of all.

Indeed man, I must say. Unfortunately, the Jehovah mention was only the first disappointment of the night - I was asleep on my couch by the time he was singing the chorus of DMSR. neutral

Jehova is another word for God and JW's are not the only people who use it. You are totally ingnorant about religion but, have no trouble running your mouth on the subject.

So what if Prince's religious beliefs aren't "general" enough to be pleasing to the masses. They're his beliefs. Screw the masses.

Prince is free to believe whatever he likes. It just sucks that he let it damage his music.
