After thinking about it for nearly a year , I finally took the dive and subscribed to xm satellite radio.

I've owned it nearly a week now and have heard the following Prince tunes on the radio:

-Controversy
-Call My Name
-Kiss
-Purple Medley (long 8min version)(oddly enough on the 80's station even tho it was released in the 90's)
-Adore
-International Lover
-Purple Rain

He seems to be well represented on the service, And besides Kiss, it's not the old tired When Doves Cry, Lets go Crazy, Little Red Corvette routine. When the last time you heard Interntional Lover, Controversy or Adore on your FM stations? I'm hooked.

They play Purple Medley every now and then, more than all his songs I've heard on there.

The Groove and the 80s play him the most.

I've heard Erotic City on there bout three times too! Heard Peach and Cream yesterday...

They have been regularly playing "On the Couch" on Channel 61 (The Flow) over the past couple of months. In fact, I heard it almost every day for at least two weeks, and I only listen when I'm in the car. They even played "What Do U Want Me 2 Do" a couple of days back. It even started me requesting "On the Couch", since I think that they actually take request seriously.

I LOVE ch. 61. It's why I got xm radio. I hear prince quite often and it's still a shock to hear him played on the 'radio'. I"ll have to check out the 80's channel more often..

But, Prince's definitely been repped properly on XM. I even e-mailed The Groove a year or so ago about having a Minneapolis Sound show and the PD said it was something he was considering. Don't know what happened to that idea, but maybe it's still in the works. Who knows. In addition to what NewPower posted as hearing, I've heard Pink Cashmere, Nothing Compares 2 U, Sexy Dancer, Let's Go Crazy, and a few others. I'm surprised to hear The Flow playing so many tracks from Musicology, though. More power to them.

I've heard I Hate U and 7 a few times on the 90's.
