There has been a whole plether of rumours going around with the number, mysterious NPGMC e-mails mentioning it, it being mentioned in Prince's latest parties...I'm sure it had some kind of meaning for his next cd...no it's nothing a clothing line.

3121 so far is a mystery - i didn't hear the song or read lyrics yet.

The way the numbers are written on his suit, however, are stylized cursive asian brush strokes (a sort of "western hiragana"). The 3 and the 1 might refer to the Christian Trinity ...(Three in One).

And as I wildly speculate more, I will mention that in Japanese, 2 is pronounced as "Ni" and the 1 is pronounced as "Ichi" so combined we might find the word "Nichi" which means Sun. (Son = Jesus?)
