What would you think of a Prince tour featuring Sheila E., Morris Day & The Time, Wendy & Lisa, and some old key players (Brown Mark, Doctor Fink, Eric Leeds, Levi Seacer Jr., Miko Weaver, Rosie Gaines etc.) jammin with the man for a country wide tour!?


I personally wouldn't mind a Prince tour with Ms. E.!

but thats just me.....to an extent he has been doing this of late..with sheila and morris.....for me personally, id love to hear the dr., leeds and expecially wendy and lisa play with him again...

not on a permenant basis or anything though...just once and awhile.....they all worked wondefully together..

It doesn't matter so much who's playing with him as long as he's playing live and kickin' out some NEW music.

I wouldn't be that jazzed about a tour like this if it was a nostalgia act trying to recapture the "magic" of 20 years ago. That time has come and gone and if I want to relive it, I can always go dig out some old tapes. Prince mentioned not long ago that folks ask about him working with old friends or reuniting the Revolution, but it probably wouldn't be as exciting as you might think because it's been done before. I agree.

Now if he was recording brand new music with these people and they were adding something fresh and relevant to the mix, then bring it on!

at the end of the day it really comes down to who and why

I mean it is just the truth. The band is just that good. And Mike Scott and Chance are both really good but there probably won't be room. If we bring back wendy and lisa anyway

John Blackwell really is the shit. The man drums like he is infused with the power of some special drumming god... but i would like to see some version of a "featured" Shiela E. Percussion, vocals, even a dance or two, or those musical skit/dances like lovesexy/sott. But Shiela can always contribute and her great attitude just makes for a good time.

Wendy is amazing. Lisa, is part of the package.. and it's not like she doesn't contribute, but for me it's about Wendy. She can play, and her contribution is just... amazing.
