Prince and Gwen Stefani

Is it me or does the entire Love, Angel, Music Baby Cd sound like a rehash of 80's Prince influenced work??

Remember when Gwen made excuses and wouldn't do a video with Prince because Rave wasn't as hot as the market thought.

It's obvious that Gwen Stefani has been trying to screw Prince since 1996, she needs to wipe her pu**y off, and read it a good night story cause P ain't havin all that! no no no!
Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. Haters are annoyed and roll thier eyes when klhk is paid a compliment. ask yourself, are u a hater?

I get a cross between Madonna and Prince on some tracks, if that's even possible. But I did feel like "Hollaback Girl" sounded sorta similar to "Housequake." Something about that beat screamed that...

how was she wrong? Rave wasn't hot and still isn't. Prince getting hot 5 years later has nothing to do with her not doing a video for him back when Rave was considered one of the worst albums of the year.

if you are going to try and connect the dots, you have to stay on the same page. you can't just connect the dots randomly and without logic.

sheesh.

and no, it doesn't sound anything like a Prince album.

Not just Prince, but a whole host of acts from the 80s, it's kinda passe now - but for a while it was de rigeur to be '80s influenced'.

Gwen's album has a couple of decent enough tracks, but when everything else in the charts is so dire, it makes it look like a gem.

I think "Cool" should've been the next single.. tho i love the attitude in "Holla Back" girl - i love this CD.. the production and songwriting is incredible, spontaneous, fun, wacky, feel good music..
