Other than the ORG, does anyone remember any of the old, and possibly now defunct Prince fansites that you used to really have a soft spot for?





ALso, are any of the fansites, in any way an indication that Prince might be gay?

does anybody here besides me remember a place called freedom webchat? i cut my prince chatroom tooth on that site. as for other sites i miss:

--the seduction 747 (beautifully designed site with a big ol'picture gallery)

--some french site (forgotten the name of it) that was this huge pic gallery, divided into b & w and color pix of prince

--In A Big White Mansion (that shit was hilarious: it was much like the "add on to my story" threads that people post here...you'd e-mail stuff to the site and your story would be featured. it was set up like a soap opera and you'd get different chapters from different people every week. i had my "episode" posted on there once, i had done it while i was gettin over this hellacious case of the flu and the shit was hilarious...wish i could find that shit on the web archive site but i've forgotten the url to the site)

I used to love this thread called Despot's Prince Thread or some shit like that.
It was hillarious. Despot got kind of annoyed when Rave came out so he shut the shit down.


Also some guy named Steve...Steve...Can't remember his last name--his site was gawd aweful looking. But it ws entertaining.
Despot frequented his message board, before starting his own.

steve hammer's site? i remember it...it's still around but he's totally given up on prince so he's got a disclaimer on the prince part of his site. i remember when i first started up online his site had all the anti-prince shit on there since the uptown lawsuit and various other site shutdowns were still goin on. bitter times, those were.

Steve Hammer's site was cool and the MPLS site was hella cool, I'm not sure if it's still around. The 600 Prince links site is still up tho.

There was this web site maintained by a french guy (I think) where he would regularly put some ONA boot for download. I cannot remember what URL it was, but that was really, really cool for him to let us be able to witness these rehearsals, shows and aftershows.
