i bought princes hits + b sides(3cd set) for..... £9.79 at sainsburys.

its 40 quid at hmv.

thats got to be the best prince bargain of the year.

can anyone beat that??

i got emanciapation and purple rain for less than £7 each in a little record shop at liverpool street station . there nearly double or triple that in all the big music stores

my friend picked up the 10 minute 12" of 'Gett Off' - the one that was issued only to clubs, with prince's artwork on a white sleeve and a totally different mix to the eventual single release.

i understand it's going for a couple of hundred pounds or more. he picked it up for 6 pounds (that's about 12 dollars). unplayed and still sealed in plastic wrapping.

I got the DVD releases of PR 20th Anniversary, UTCM, and Graffiti Bridge for free at work. A week before they were released to retail. Can't beat free!

But yeah, that vinyl "Gett Off" promo is pretty hard to beat...
