for you ive read alot of put down reviews regarding "for you"..this i couldnt disagree with more ..ok so the guy was 20 and it was 1978...so any1 who critisizes the sound of the album obviously doesnt realise that was the 70s funk sound ,made famous by parliament and george clinton n co. ..i love the album ,,especially "my love is 4 eva" with the litl chimes he uses and "just as long as were 2getha " with his funk instruMENTAL...WHOA !!! it isnt really a glimpse in2 the future tho,i think albums like dirty mind and controversy paved the path prince walked til around 87 when sign o the times showed a differnet side of this fantastically talented artist "isnt she great? ooh ye i wanna bust dat body " | |
