This is one of my favs off Musicology. He really sang it on the Art of Musicology show on all the video channels. He should have done it on the tour though. Maybe we will get this when he finally releases the tour on dvd if he does but as time goes by it seems more and more unlikely.but we can still dream can't we.

mschirmer	I agree that Dear Mr.Man is one of the better tracks off Musicology, but better than Sign O The Times??? No way Jose. Sign O The Times is classic. Musicology doesn't have independent of the mainstream. It's very pigeon holed. Sign was very cutting edge.

I don't care what some of you all say. That was one of the few songs that I dig and could stand on the album b/c it was tight. The lyrics and the musical arrangements were on the one. I glad that Prince got millitant on this jam and spoke his mind. More power to you Prince. fro

I agree. I also think maybe it was almost like a joke; "maybe we should write a letter" On the other hand, it's like, do something, write a letter even. It is up there, though I dig SOTT more. All in all, I like the song.
