Yes, Prince was romantically involved with Susannah at this time, and a lot of songs around this period were about her. But 'She's Always In My Hair' was not one of them. It was about Jill Jones. (ask anyone around at that time, it's widely known and documented) | |

Prince wrote the Beautiful Ones for Sussanah while he may have still been with Vanity.He wrote Bedtime Story for Devin Devasquez while he was with Sussanah.When Doves Cry was about Susan Moonsie and She's Always In My Hair was about Jill Jones.

2. With all due respect, I don't like or trust Possessed at all because that author comes off as a "playerhater" against Prince (and I don't trust lawyers that like to bash my black musical elders like that without solid evidence). But I have read parts of D.M.S.R. before (and I remember liking those chapters a lot!). If THAT bio said it was Jill Jones, then you're right & I'm wrong.
3. I'm a true Prince fan because of his music & not his personal life. So please everyone, let us all keep the peace & allow me to have a fair chance to study all the facts. Thank you. [Edited 3/13/05 21:28pm] | |
