Europe is so small it is easy to drive around and follow the tour. Still looking back I must have been mad!!! We would park in the long stay car park at the airports as this was cheaper than a motel and we would sleep in the back of the transit van and thne use the airport showers etc etc. I remember waking up in Germany somewhere and my watch stating it was 6 o clock and I didn't know if it was am or pm and the only way i could tell ws to go to the restaurant and see if they were serving breakfast or dinner!! More awesome was Dortmund in 1988 at Westfallenhalle! Most of the tickets actually went on sale in Holland despite Dortmund being in Germany. Also there is a massive rivalry between the Dutch and the Germans and it added to the atmosphere there with the chants back and forth. In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Wow this is actually a hard question. Wembley 86 always sticks in my head as this was the first time I had seen him in the flesh and I was front row. Rotterdam during 1990, he looked me right in the eye and sang I've Seen The Future and it will be". That whole night was magical actually, I remember leaving the gig a little early and walking back to the van and as it was an outdoor venue it was like Prince was coming from the sky! Apart from one night at the Palais Di OmniSport in Paris I have always been within a few rows front of stage. I don't like Earls Court as a venue. Maine Road is crap. i live in singapore..on south east asia..n ive been waiting all my life to watch a prince concert but never..like..my country is pretty strict in certain aspects but cool enough for bobby brown,metallica and black eyed peas(whom me n my group opened for,we r an rnb/soul group) to have played here.well..prince ..if u r listening..please play in singapore.
