What songs by Prince blend funk and rock the best?

Ones that immediately come to mind for me are...

Computer Blue
Electric Chair
Rebirth of the Flesh
Shockadelica
Rockhard In A Funky Place

Well if Prince had released Rebirth of the Flesh I think it would've gone down with I wanna take you higher and superstition as one of the definitive funk-rock tunes of all time so that's my vote. Computer Blue, Electric Chair, Shockadelica, Rockhard in a funky place, She's Always In my Hair are all up there.

exactly. The 12" version in particular demonstartes his genius to fuse genres effortlessly.

fuck, that track is like a reunion show, "rock, here's your long lost brother, Funk". Then they hug and go have a party,

Shit, thats songs so good.

There ya go! That's one of my favorites from TGE.
Also, how'd we miss Batdance? Even though the funk and rock are seperated, it still fits what Prince was going for with that particular song.
