I think 've seen him 9 times--84, 88, 92, 97, 98 twice, 2001? 2004 twice
I'm actually not sure I'd want to see the same show over & over. Musicology in June & September was great, but the second show wasn't quite as exciting. I wonder what the 30th show of the same tour would be like. I'm amazed at how into it Prince seemed at the end, singing Purple Rain for the umpteenth time. I still love those who do follow him around (are you reading this, Italian girls?) Check this song out at:

Blimey - and I thought that my 29 times was going to do quite well!! Seems I'm in a lower league.
Of course, this figure was made a bit easier back in the days when he used to do 14-night runs and all that. I'm fairly sure I attended 5 of the nights for Gold and 7 of the Act I (I think) nights. It was definitely Earl's Court anyway and, at that time, Prince's 14-night run was the longest by any artist. ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
