I have a friend who was trying to open his own Musical Instrument Store.Anyway he hung out with P one night at a club and he asked him for an autograph so he could put in the store that he was managing at that time. P didn't tell him No but he actually told him that if his project ever got off the ground that he would send him an autograph pic. So I guess he makes acceptions. Unfortunately the store never opened but he still holds on to Rhonda's number just incase it ever does happen. But there are alot of autograph pics on Ebay. Authentic who knows? | |

[Edited 3/8/05 18:38pm] I always believed that the lyric was to mean "P" and not "pee", with the "P" standing for Parliament as in P-Funk (since he worked with George Clinton on this version). Nope, it's "pee" according to the sheet music. This was George Clinton's addition to the song, not Prince's. This is the song that Prince mentioned when he inducted P-Funk into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. George told him to send him the song, he'd "pee" on it, then send it back to Prince so he could "pee" on it as well, then see what they had. Of course, I DO think its a bit of a doulbe-entendre, since George frequently uses "P-Funkin'" as a verb. He's testing positive for the funk, and he'll take whatever test you want to prove it (thus, peeing in a cup. A common method for drug tests).

I agree that the religious rambling is far more perverse than any of the sexual themes.
Sister is by far the most taboo, but I have to admit that that song is just hot. I guess it's the lascivious spritit that possesses the song. I love it though. Don't forget ...better than the used condom you sent me --from One of Your Tears (which is a lovely song, sad and sexy at the same time, but that visual is too much, how disgusting) perfection is a fallacy of the imagination... | |

i always pictured it that way.esp the "she ran from school in a hurry...the other girls ohh,... they knew" if there was a video for that song who do you think would play the girls? prince is one of them fer sure. | |
