Some people get caught up, some don't. Chaka Khan is a good example. I never knew Chaka was on drugs heavy until I read her book and it still didn't affect her voice. I didn't hear stories about her back in the 80's like Natalie Cole.

2. Prince ACTING bizarre?!?!?!? In 1983??? No shit. That was how Prince always acted. He was "being Prince". This is the same persona/act he did when he talked to God during the "purple Rain" tour. " Who ate of the apple 1st? Does it matter? The end result was negative..." and all that. I am not saying that the man could never ever have done drugs. I am just saying that how Prince "acted" that night was how he always "acted" back then. Mysterious, aloof, and purple.....

When Ophra asked Prince about drugs he said

"I am interested in all experiences"


So he tried lots of drugs I suppose, just to experiment with it. at least once. So he could have tried some cocaine this particular day, who knows?

I work in a jail. I've seen a lot of high mofo's in my years here. I hate to say it, because until I saw it for myself I would have never believed it was true.....but ol' boy was as high as a kite. He was fucked up royally. He also looked high in the "Anotherlover" video. I hadn't seen it in years. I recently watched it when I got the "Cherry Moon" DVD. The boy's pupils are huge.He looks high. So does Susannah.
