One show
Worcester MA I was 17 and it was my 3rd show. It was a mess getting tickets. The Centrum wouldn't allow fans to line up on their property overnight, so everyone waited across the street. About a half hour before the doors opening someone ran for the ticket door and it started a mad dash of hundreds (maybe thousands ?) running over and through cars. 24 hours with no sleep and I got average tickets. I was able to work my way to the about the 10th row. It was awesome. Prince had two tons of hair stacked up on the little body. lol

:wave:Purple Rain in Detroit was my first Prince concert. Hooked ever since!
I also bought the purple sleeveless T with the doves on it. I still have the program and ticket stub. We had nose bleed seats too--almost all the way to the top! I think I took binoculars. It was much better to be in 5th row for the Musicology tour thanks to the music club!

I don't remember the date, but it was the first night in Los Angeles.I went with my friend who got me hooked to Prince in the first place. Got nosebleed seats on the right side of the stage at the L.A. Forum in Inglewood,CA.When the show started, suddenly all these girls around me started screaming at the top of their lungs.Me & my fried constantly told them to calm down but they just ignored us. I remember seeing Elizabeth Taylor in the first row.I think there was something in the newspaper the next day that La Liz invited Prince to her house & he acted like an ass.

Great shows....sat right in front of the Van Halen members for one of the shows. These were the times when all the P fans came dressed in camisoles and trench coats.
Me too, the Forum. A friend of mine won tickets, but he'd been the night before, so he sold them to me last minute. I went with my brother. He fell off as a fan, but I took him to Musicology (6th row) and brought him back into the fold. I remember the show was pretty exciting, but having seen it on video, I think the Musicology show was better on the whole. Better flow. Check this song out at:

I was 12 years old, and the Purple Rain tour came to Birmingham, Alabama "If God one day struck me blind, your beauty I'd still see. LOVEs too weak to describe just what you mean to me."

I was right there in Inglewood at the Forum. The tickets said wear something purple and that’s all u saw was purple. Purple was everywhere even the Forum was lit up with purple florescence lights. I had a purple good time. Everyone was in such a good mood. That’s one of the reasons I love going 2 P’s concerts. His fans r the best everyone is always ready 4 an all out party. The energy was flowing heavy and the fans let it all hang out. I will never forget that purple night. P was on fire and ended up soaked in the Purple Rain
