I've seen the cover with and without the symbol, and also with a gold symbol. What's the difference? Is one of those the clean version? Which one should I get?

May just have a different Jewel Case.

There is a version that is a 'limited edition' with the symbol on it with just gold all around.

But I guess u are saying that the picture still exists but the symbol isnt there. There probably will be no difference as long as the parental advisory thingie is still in the corner.

Yep - the one with the Gold symbol is the original version from when it was released back in the 90s.

The ones without are simply the reproduction since

Its quite had to find the one with Gold symbol now (in my experience)

The clean/unclean versions look the same except for a sticker on the front

The ones without a symbol is just a replacemtn by the stores, maybe the cd has fallen, and broke the front of the jewelcase? ()that is what happened sometimes in the store where i worked )

The Gold one is just different packaging of the normal one (with embossed symbol)

My copy without the symbol is censored, so Sexy MF has the F screamed out, et.

Theres several versions of this album. Some have the gold symbol imprinted on the plastic case in gold foil. Later reprints just have a yellow symbol as part of the booklet cover. And there is also the special edition version which comes in a gold foil cardboard box with a purple symbol imprinted on the cover.
