EMANCIPATION… CENSORED!?? I recently bought a new copy of Emancipation to replace my original copy that I somehow managed to loose! There I am signing along to Face Down when I am shocked to hear that every time Mother Fucker is said... it plays backwards to censor it out!? My original copy never did this, come to think of it I have never owned any Prince album that has ever been censored!
It really bugs me and really ruins the song. I bough it from Play.com(UK) for £6.99 which also pissed me off because I originally bought it for £34.99! I WAS ROBBED! 
Anyway... WHATS THE DEAL WITH THE CENSORING AND IS YOUR COPY CENSORED OR NOT? And on a completely different subject... we are just getting to her about John Legend in the UK. I don’t know how long he has been about but I’m assuming it’s not that long, but his album is QUALITY stuff! Already thinking how great it would be for Prince to do a track with him! There is a censored version of the symbol album as well. Sexy MF he sings Sexy Mother and then does the Prince scream thing. It's quite funny. | |

Michael Jackson Greatest Hits is like this too.....On the second disc there are loads of edits and backward bits to cover lyrics that werent editted on my first version. | |

u were robbed if u bought it originally for £34.
i bought it for £20 from "Our Price" the day it was released. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
