The Ultimate Prince Album

We all know that prince made emancipation a triple album to spite warner brothers for preventing him from being able to do so back in 1987 with Sign O' The Times/Crystal Ball, and we also know that a lot of great stuff got cut from Sign O' the Times and I'm sure we've all tried reconstructing the sequences to Camille, Dream Factory and Crystal Ball or any permutation of the three. What if Prince had been allowed to make as big an album as he wanted back then IE what if Sign O' The Times had been a triple plus album with 36 tracks like emancipation? Here's my tracklisting for a super aggregate of all three album concepts

Disc 1
Sign O' The Times
Play In the Sunshine
Housequake
Dream Factory
The Ballad of Dorothy Parker
It
Starfish And Coffee
Slow Love
Hot Thing
Wonderful Ass
Soul Psychodelicide
Crystal Ball

Disc 2
Rebirth of the Flesh
U Got The Look
If I was your girlfriend
Rockhard in a funky place
The Ball/Eye No
Joy In Repetition
Strange Relationship
I could never take the place of your man
Shockadelica
Good Love
Crucial
We Can Funk

Disc 3
Visions
Forever in my life
Last Heart
Witness 4 The Prosecution
Movie Starr
A Place In Heaven
Power Fantastic
All My Dreams
In a Large Room With No light
It's gonna be a beautiful night
Adore
The Cross

When you say "The Ball/Eye No" do you mean that you segued the two tracks together?

Which versions of Crucial, We Can Funk, Soul Psychodelicide, Crystal Ball, Strange Relationship, and Wonderful Ass did you use?

I wrote The Ball/Eye No because I think that either one would work since the music is essentially the same. I don't have as many of the alternate or unreleased versions as a lot of youz super hardcore fans out there so I just used the officially released versions of all but soul psychodelicide and wonderfull ass f. Those two I opted against the longer versions I've come across because I didn't want to make It THAT long.

Also, I haven't bothered looking for the original sitar version of Strange Relationship because I can already make out a sitar in the known version and I really like the known version biggrin

"U Got The Look"? You can't find any song better than that?

This kinda makes me wonder what other great double albums would be like if they were expanded in this way, like what if Stevie Wonder had added a dozen or so of his best outtakes from the sessions of Songs in the key of life to the album (which Wonderlove has hinted are really killer). Or what if the White Album, gigantic as it was had been ever bigger eek
