Is the version of 'Thieves in the Temple' played in the Graffiti Bridge movie a different version than that on the album?

I just really like the different percussion in that one part and the "ki-ki-ki-kickin' me in my heart" thing...

Yes it is different. . .

Actually, the extended version has the same portion you are mentioning [extra percussion & ki-ki-kickin' me. . .]

...and the version that was released as a single also has that added ki-ki-kickin' me part.

The US version has 3 versions:

1. Remix
2. Thieves In the House Mix
3. Temple House Dub

There's a Japanese version that includes tracks from the New Power Generation single. . .

between this and the joy in repetition discrepancy mentioned on another thread, i'm thinkin' the graffiti bridge soundtrack is all over the place!

The remix/extended version is great. It also has some poetic extra lyrics which are some of my favourite. The part that starts with "I'm holding on, holding on, the best that I can..."
