Is the white angular guitar he played on the Nude tour (check Question of U video on Graffiti Bridge DVD) the cloud guitar with a shell/covering over it? Or is it an entirely different guitar?

The "Model C" Guitar.

Used extensively on the "Nude Tour", this guitar and and it's Bass counterpart were designed and built by Auerswald guitars in Germany. The guitar featured a one piece Wengewood construction a String locking Bridge and the distinctive tie bar designed to aid sustain, which Prince demonstrated by playing entire songs using only his left hand!

The same company made the symbol guitar.

Also made by Auerswald instruments, Prince trademark axe for the nieties was originally a 24 fret affair with Tunomatic. The new versions are rear string loading with 90's Fender style bridge saddles. Although it retains the stats of the Cloud guitar, this cutting edge instrument has a unique tone, which has a more compressed sound than it's predessesor. Versions of the guitar exist to date in White, Black and Gold. As well as the Cloud, the neck is also modelled on a Les Paul (Short scale, flat frets, Shallow camber and a "C" shaped profile.)

Wasn´t there a rumor in the 80´s that the " Model C " was a gift by Gloria von Thurn und Taxis ?? ( She´s sort of a German aristocrat, quite hip back in the day and extremely conservative and narrowminded these days).

Also, what kind of model is Habibi exactly ?? Auerswald ?

And what´s the deal with the Schecters ?? Replicas of the Auerswald ??

PS : You forgot the purple one ( Habibi) ...I think the white, black and golden symbol guitars are not named Habibi..

"Habibi" is still an Auerswald made guitar and I don't see (or hear) any difference between the other symbol guitars other than the colour.

I was lucky enough to hold Habibi after the ONA show at Hammersmith, London - its even better than it looks
