The Time "latest fashion". Which version u prefer? The original is slower and reminds me of "the sex of it" really.
It is completely diferent really. The original is a snarling toss off to a girl who did him wrong. I like the begging she does. It's funny. Even though the lyrics and tune are the same as the "grafitti bridge" version. "Lying in the heat of passion, isn't that the game, this weeks love is next weeks old flame".....I love those lines! I go for the original. "gb" version is no doubt funky, with the great corny Prince rap, but the original has depth and shows a realistic situation and Morris is maybe in the right. What about u? (ps. did prince solely write this one?) [Edited 3/22/05 7:20am]

Don't forget the spin-off "My Summertime Thang" from Pandemonium. If you like "The Latest Fasion" and can't get past Prince's cheesy rap, MST is a good fallback. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/
