Good list. Not your typical top 10, or in this case top 11 Prince songs. Only 2 were in the the Billboard top 10, most were not released as singles and a couple were B sides. I'd be interested to know why you choose a particular song for your top 3 and how long you've been a Prince fan.
As a Prince fan since the '80s, I'm biased towards his 80's music. My top 3 from the list are: 1. When Doves Cry- the song that made me a Prince fan in the first place. 2. Adore- the most beautiful Prince love song there is-- passionate and romantic; it's good to hear him perform this song in his current ONA tour. 3. Purple Rain- not only because it's the most recognizable Prince song, but it's probably one of the best rock songs there is and the first Prince song that demonstrates his talent with the guitar. First... WOW! I am so sorry you have JUST NOW been able to hear "the question of u". I really hope u have been able to enjoy "joy in repetition", three songs later on that album! If u haven't (and/or didn't get to behold it live yet at ONA), for crying out loud-- PLEEEZ DO!!!!!
