nah. it wasn't annoying at all, cuz at the time i was converting my tapes/vinyl to CD, a lot of his 80s stuff was in the cut-out bins. i got ATWIAD, parade, and some of the paisley park side artist albums all for like five bucks a pop in the cut-outs. now half of those suckers go for hundreds of bucks on eBay, even WITH the cut-out hole drilled in 'em!

I was just being a little sarcastic by saying it was annoying..
I recently found all of my old vinyl albums and I was so excited I actually have been playing them. It really has made me appreciate my CDs.
Now if only I can get some re-masters.....

I finally got around to getting all the CDs but I still prefer my vinyl. It's the way I heard it when it was brand new. There's nothing like that.

That is how I found the following CDs for $5 or less at Beast Buy:

Ingrid Chavez
George Clinton's Hey Man Smell My Finger and The Cinderella Theory
TC Ellis (it's shit, but I've got it on CD, so it's digital shit at least)
Mavis Staples' Time Waits For No One and The Voice
Jill Jones (by far the best Paisley Park related artist album)
The Day Z's (Morris Day's girls group...makes TC Ellis sound like freakin' Frank Sinatra, but hey...)
Dale, Riot in English (sad, sad)
Batman "limited edition" can
Carmen Electra
Eric Leeds' Times Squarred and Things Left Unsaid
Three O'Clock's Vermillion

I'm not calling you a liar,but
Jill Jones hasn't been in print since 1989
Dale hasn't since 1989 also
Three O' clock since 1989
And the rest have been out of print since the year they were released.

I have gone through the entire Best Buy databank, and they've never had these CD's in stock other than Frank Sinatra. There is only a handful of places you can find any of these CD's other than eBay. Mostly used record stores...if your lucky!!

Say what you will, but I found all the CDs I listed above (and likely more...those are just ones I remember off the top of my head) at Best Buy in Corpus Christi, Texas. And yes, Jill Jones, Dale and Three O'Clock were all there, in the cutout bin.

Don't go too hard on yourself...it is often quite difficult to discern the crap from the good stuff when shopping at Big Lots. smile

Orgnote me.
