For real! I mean, the man's just chillin' in Hollywood, and for the past two months, there have been parties going on non-stop, what with all of the award shows and going-ons! This is NOT the first time he's had invite-only affairs, people!! I just hope that whatever he releases next isn't something that "panders" to the crowd, so to speak.

I think all that people are saying, is that it is strange behavior for Prince, who for years, behaved like he was social-phobic, and only kept a tight inner-circle, to be hanging out in Hollywood, attending every award show, and partying with people who prior to 2004, probably just laughed him off as an eccentric has-been.

Hasn't anyone noticed how un-nervous he has seemed doing his presentations at these awards? I can think back to other award shows in the past 20 years, where he was accepting awards, and I was so embarrassed for him because of the strange things he said or the way he looked.

You have to admit, it is weird that for as long as most of us have known him, he has been unique...kind of an enigma, but now, he's practically fitting in with the rest of the celebrity world.

I am just saying -- he better not forget (and I really don't think he will) those of us that have been supporting him over the last decade (both supporting his music AND his finances) while many other people -- Hollywood stars included -- wrote him off. I paid the $100 a year to join the NPGMC because I love the music. I paid to go to the celebrations because I love the music. I bought The Rainbow Children and N.E.W.S because I love the music. Prince honored our devotion by giving us "perks" like access to Paisley parties, after parties, and exclusive music. It was a fair trade, if you ask me. Call me a "crazy fam" if you'd like, but I WILL feel betrayed if he falls through on his end of the NPGMC bargain and just in general, doesn't have the integrity to recognize those of us that have really supported him.

Prince is a smart man. While I might feel this way when I hear about these parties, I do believe deep down he know's what's what and there's no need to worry. But "envy" isn't logical, so it's hard not to feel a little something, even though it might seem silly.

And I DO have a life. I just happen to be a big Prince fan.

As you said, I'm sure he knows the deal about the fickle Hollywood crowd. How one minute they're on your nutsack, and the next they're trying to cut that very same nutsack off. For some reason, he's playing "the game", trying to maximize his potential earnings for some future project I'm sure, so he has his reasons. Just hope he doesn't "squander" all of this attention by releasing some piece of crap album that makes people want to hear the old stuff even more. LOL!

Y'all are exaggerating a little bit. All of us wished we were there, and are a little jealous. But it's nice to see Prince doing his thing. His fans have such an intimate knowledge of his music that they'd love to see more of him on a personal level.

As a celebrity, Prince is going to associate with people who share common experiences. That's nothing new.

Whatever he "owes" is fans is a matter of opinion.

Fucshia color house? That's the house he put on the market before he married Mayte. The house was on the market for $3.5 or $4.5 million in August of 1995. I don't know if it every sold, but California is a I'll take "half" state when it comes to getting a divorce. Prince must be feeling secure in his second marriage if he took the house off the market.

I went by the house in 1994, but don't ask me for directions since, every time I visit L.A. I just drive up and down the streets knowing LaBrea, LaCienga, and Crenshaw eventually hit Sunset Blvd and I can take Sunset through Hollywood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills.

The "Zannalee" video was filmed in and outside Prince's fucshia color house.

Why is Prince changing?

Ephesians 4:20-24

20 But YOU did not learn the Christ to be so, 21 provided, indeed, that YOU heard him and were taught by means of him, just as truth is in Jesus, 22 that YOU should put away the old personality which conforms to YOUR former course of conduct and which is being corrupted according to his deceptive desires; 23 but that YOU should be made new in the force actuating YOUR mind, 24 and should put on the new personality which was created according to God’s will in true righteousness and loyalty.

Colossians 3:9
9 Do not be lying to one another. Strip off the old personality with its practices, 10 and clothe yourselves with the new [personality], which through accurate knowledge is being made new according to the image of the One who created it

in my opinion, Prince is uniting every1 as 1 , we will all b on the same level, and the world will b as 1. all 7 we will watch them fall, they stand n the way of luv and we will smoke them all, .....i believe n Prince. things r done by process, dont ever think ur not good enuff2 b invited 2 his house. if u feel that way, ur probably not, then u need 2 ask urself y?God made me and Prince is my brother ,he opens doors4 me, he goes n first and prepare my place.Patience is a virtue.i am always invited.Always. i know that when he's ready4 me he will send4 me like he's always done.Prince is not a fake.He his capitalizing on his past expirences, and making some investments . Common sense tells u that.Prince is 1 of us,act like Prince when u do go 2 hollywood, relax.
may meekness, and peace follow u where ever u may go...

Heck, maybe I'll call him up and see if he and Mani wanna come to dinner with me & the family.

Stop Ur cryin'! I remember a time when Prince didn't tour America at all! He was the Darling of Europe! It's about time that he had a good show for us here in the states! The last time I saw him was in Baltimore on the Emancipation tour, and I wish I had had the money to see him last year.

All that time he toured outside the states, did you go and see him?

Toni's Oscar Night ended with her hanging out at a party at Prince's house. How did this happen? You've got to read this.

When you come to Hollywood you think that the whole world is going to change for you.

Boy Did it!!!!

I had a friend of mine come in from Chicago to celebrate her Birthday LA style and due to her, I myself, had one of the greatest nights of my life. Because of her and her connections with Hollywood Royalty I was accepted to go to the after party with no other than the man himself... PRINCE!!!!!

Now I really did not think that I would be able to get in. But I was assured that my friend of 9 years Trevian could make it happen. She has always been in my corner and working for me to make the connections I need in Hollywood to make it happen. Now Sunday started out with a beautiful brunch at the Ivy here in West Hollywood . I had the pleasure of eating with Chicago hometown Juanita Jordan (Michael Jordan's wife) and Cedric the Entertainer's wife as well as the awesome Tenisha AKA Pam from the hit show Martin. Wow, and totally fun. Champagne and great conversations were flowing for over 3 Hours. Now as the Oscars started to draw near Trevian and I came back to my apartment complex to watch the Oscars unfold.

As we watched Trevian's phone was blowing up with calls to invites to the After Parties. Now I did not think in a million years that she would want to take me. But she did!

With Carl, AKA cockroach, (Martin Lawrence show) called and invited us to Jamie Foxx' party at a club called Hollywood and Vine. I of course was late and did not get in, but that was alright, I waited for the crew to come out because they said they had another surprise. "We're going to Prince's house!!"

WOW! WOW! WOW!

I knew this was a lifetime opportunity and I had to take it. Totally nervous, we set out to go to the party of all parties. And believe me this place is awesome. The front gates of the estate have the legendary symbol for Prince and security was tight. We arrived at around 12 am . We knew the party was going on until 6 am . When the gates opened after a major security check and code names and words and we were in. I drove up the massive driveway with just pure excitement.

I could not believe that I was about to walk into the home of a legend. As you approach the front door there was yet another huge symbol over the entryway. Lined with velvet and candles the house was laid out with an Asian theme. Really Zen materials and then you could go two ways. The main space was set up with a stage and equipment with live music. I found out that Prince likes to perform for his guests. OH MY GOD!!! Prince was going to be singing in front of me ... 5 feet away!

I turned around to have the man himself standing right in front of me. I tried to keep cool as I was introduced. He shook my hand and said welcome enjoy the festivities. Anything you need please ask. Oh my god! Oh my god!!

I was just blown away. Now he is not a big man, I probably had a good 5 inches on him, but I was prepared for that. He pointed to his game room with a huge pool table and said feel free if you like to play pool, and the bar is over here, and the chefs are cooking if you're hungry, enjoy. Then he did the coolest thing ever; he said, enjoy yourself Toni! Wow!

I walked into the Kitchen and the chef walked me around the spread as he placed the food on a plate for me and then had some one bring me a glass of Champagne . Wow!

With my good friend with me, and being with Carl, the night was already awesome! I met a legend! I was in this man house, Wow!

We finished eating to a wonderful DJ that was spinning mixes of all of Prince's music, of course and proceeded to walk outside by the pool. The back yard was lined with Purple lights and a huge Symbol hanging in front of the pool house. It was reflecting all over the back yard and the water. With one of the most beautiful views of LA, of course, this is Prince; I would not expect anything less from the man. Now I was outside for a bit and just trying to soak up the view and everything that was happening. I met some really cool people out there and we were just laughing for a while. It was cool. Now I know that the true party does not really happen until 2 so I was not about to go home. What I did not know is that it was 2 am and I had been outside for about an hour. I walked back in to see the most amazing thing ever. Spike Lee was standing by the door and saw me coming in so he opened the door for me. Oh my god! Then as I said thank you I went back to the Bar to find my friends and sure enough there was Chris Tucker, Chris Rock, And Salma Hayek laughing and talking about something. I just smiled, and walked away to find my friends. Then I walked around to the band starting and there was Pamela Anderson with Jamie Foxx. And then Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philipe, I looked around again to see Clive Davis talking with Jeff Gordon. Regina King was talking with my girl Trevian and motioned for me to come over. As I met her she introduced me to Chris Rock and Chris Tucker. I was talking with these guys for a bit and they were awesome.

Then she walked me over to Jamie Foxx and introduced me. He would not let that Oscar go. He carried it all night long.

Clive Owen (Oscar Nominees for best supporting actor) was standing with the totally hot, French actor Erik Per Sullivan (Unfaithful). I got a chance to speak with them for a bit and toast to a great night. That was awesome. Oh my god there so hot!!!!! Erika Christensen (Swimfan) and I were dancing to Prince singing his heart out and then there were so many other celebrities there that I started to lose count, until The Black Eyed Peas with Toni Tony Tone got up there with Prince and sang and danced. It was amazing. I just was blown away with how wonderful and nice everyone was. I just could not believe that I was there.

I know that it truly was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be blessed with my friends. If it were not for Trevian I would have never been there. Thank You Trevian for memories that will be with me until the day I die.

Wow, I truly struck the lotto.

Remember the days when he would do this party thing at Paisley Park? We would get to hear snipets of new material...and just chill...and have a really good time? Has he forgotten us? Those that have stood by him all these years when the rest of the world (Hollywood) was writting him off as a has-been?

Oh well... neutral

i so feel that too.. but not hating that they get to party too, but he has got to miss the realness of his regular fans rather than the hollywood fakeness but maybe the selectivness means not all the fake one are at his parties.... i have been quite sad with being just left in minnesota.. no parties nothing whilst he just do it up in the hills there. Mani gets to just mingle with the big stars....i remember we use to call paisley and ask 'is there a party tonight?" god i miss those good ol days.. we sure did have a ball for many years....all good things come to end i suppose.. maybe he will get bored someday and come back home home.

I don't think so! Paris Hilton was at one of his parties!!!
