Was everyone watching the same show I saw?! The guy who knelt before Prince DID NOT KISS HIS HAND! He placed P's hand to his forehead (like a knight would do a king). Even the pic on this thread shows it! I think people want to create more controversy than there is!

What controversy? Some people saw a bow, some saw a kiss. Either way, it was a sign of respect. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Some people earlier were asking "What's up with that?" as if there was some sort of funny business going on and not the sign of respect like you said.. Plus I like as much accuracy as possible when people are reporting events or facts... I was getting the play by play on the oscars last night on the Org because I was at work.... When I came home to watch the show on Tivo, No kiss, just people's exaggerations.

I get what you mean. I thought it was a kiss at first, but in hindsight I guess it was just a bow. A kiss would've been cute though, I think. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

What's so tough about Immerglück? But then again it's in my mother language, so...
BTW, where's the report from Prince's party? There was one and he did play, so I want a report. And I don't care if it's a fake one from a chick from Hungary, just gimme some to read.

Maybe it was a reversible jacket! The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

You should have seen the german commentator at the oscars, Anke Engelke. Apparentally, she's a big fan and seemed to have a little crush on him.

i noticed this too. I guess his face was just so pretty they had to keep it on the screen. Haters are annoyed and roll thier eyes when klhk is paid a compliment. ask yourself, are u a hater?

Don't any of you find it odd that the man was married to a Hispanic woman for three years and didn't pick up any spanish? I, too, was amused by the presentation and felt a little sorry for him that he had that of all categories to present. But, in the end, he still managed to laugh at himself. And I loved the tux 'til I saw the white pants. Either he should have worn a white tux or a black tux.

Not really, considering his hispanic wife lived in Germany for what 6 years and can't speak German. And this is according to the native German speaking concert goers attending a concert during one of the tours in the early to mid90's. She came on stage and mangled their language (Act II or Gold tour maybe) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
