Prince's outfit was pretty cool. I liked the purple jacket way better than the black one. His hair was a little off though. Kinda brushed oddly at the front -and did he have glitter in it? 
 @ him stumbling over all those names. Maybe next time, he'll read over the list before he goes on stage? 
And Prince got his hand kissed like a lady!  The guy was obviously a fan, he just chose an unorthodox way of showing it. I thought it was cute.

I absolutely LOVED Prince!!! Too bad it was soooo short. He did a fairly good job reading the names, ... and it was wonderful hearing him speak Spanish. It was sexy (for me) . I just read this too:

I wonder how many jaws hit the floor when Prince was introduced as an Academy Award winner. (P.S. I think Prince may have had something to do with the short intro -- at his request, I bet).

It's was an honor to witness Prince present the Oscar he won 20 years ago. A very historic evening. I loved his outfts. He looked very nice. Sitting through that awful show almost killed me, but Prince made it worth it. Loved it.
It was too cute when Prince laughed a bit to himself after he screwed up the names, and HILARIOUS when that guy bowed down to him. Prince looked amused as hell at that, like he was thinkin' "What's this brotha doin? Finish ya speech an' lemme go." The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Didn't like the hair or the outfit  Just didn't work for me tonight. Prince isn't the first person to stumble over names and he won't be the last. It's just damn good to see the man.  And his facial expressions are priceless.
Note to the Academy: Tips for making next years show much more enjoyable for me. 1. Invite Prince to present again, or better yet perform. 2. Tape the show the night before you air it on TV. 3. Edit out everything except Prince. 4. On Sunday, air the 5 minutes or so you have left. List all the winners in the credits and call it a night. | |

It was purple and glittery -- doesn't show through very well in this pic -- and, at the time, it fit with his mystique and Purple Rain persona.
