Well, it was never really "in print" to begin with. It was only ever available through 1800-NEW-FUNK as part of the Crystal Ball package and a few subsequent re-releases on NPGMC (it wasn't available in the normal retail version you could buy in shops). Your best bet is ebay or at a second hand wreka stow, but even then they're rare and expensive because most people who have a copy are hardcore fans who wouldn't part with it (even though it's not that amazing!)

Yeah, you can probably find a Crystal Ball 5 CD set on ebay for not too much. Or, download it! smile

At any rate, you're not missing much. But I understand your desire to have it all.

You got to be joking - this one always commands a high price. There was a guy on HQ recently who had a few extra sets of the 5 disc, and very generously offered them for $50 each to members. He stopped doing that after one shithead bought one and immediately sold it on eBay for double the price.

Hell, you might as well just see if you can download it.

If you could buy it, you would, but you can't cause its outta print and hard as hell to find. So you really dont have a choice.

It's not worth owning, so I'd suggest getting a CDR from somebody nice.

Bear in mind that all second-hand copies are guaranteed to be in near-mint condition biggrin

It's so sad that Prince's erratic publishing behaviour post '93 makes some great songs inaccessible to the vast majority of the listening public sad. So many out of print CDs.

If you were really after it, and it wanted the official product, but didn't want/already had CB, then you're only other bet is the initial cassette release - it doesn't go for very much at all on eBay.
