How do you get into a Prince aftershow? If you don't obviously have a ticket, what is the protocol or some of the things you can do to get in?

from my understanding the aftershows are kinda like on a first come, first served basis--if you make it to the venue after the aftershow's announced and you get in, you're cool.

typically, you just gotta follow the fans - i think it's become much easier with the internet to plan how to get to an aftershow...not to mention, during the last tour, NPGMC sold tix ahead of time for several of his aftershows. generally, though, i'd just say to keep an eye on sites like this and NPGMC, especially when you know he's coming near your town.

and like handsclaps said - sometimes (most times) they announce the afterparties/aftershows at the end of the main concerts.

I do have to say that during the past year he did very few aftershows. They were really parties...but he didn't play. It used to be he normally did an actual show after each performance...right?
