Prince is a talented fellow, the young female fans here i give them props for recognizing REAL talent and not the glam and glitz for Beyonce or Britney (although, i do admit they are entertaining, but talentless... and yes Beyonce is talentless!). I'm 16 and I love Prince to death. My mom says I'm going through a Prince phase but I've loved him ever since I was little. Most of my friends hate him and say I'm nuts for liking him. My friends who do like him say," Oh yeah, I like that song Purple Rain." I just shake my head and say there's so much more!!!!!

Based on what i saw at the musicology concert i went to, I would have to say that most of his fans are middle aged single/married women. Then Confused teenage boys. Teenage girls would have to be a distant 3rd.

I remember seeing him on t.v when I was around 11, I think the "Most beautiful girl in the world" video was on. I was like who is that, he is fine. Well, I didn't say it exactly like that.

Im 22 and ive loved him since i was 3 - up untill i was 16 i didnt really listen to any other artist besides Prince.

Initially i connected with his music when i was 3 - my mum put ATWIAD on and i started dancing, since then ive loved him and she noticed i really listened when she played his music so she bought me lots more and by the time i was about 7 i adored him for his music AND his sexy ass.

Ive been a massive fan since i remember and its never showed any signes of stopping. I STILL see his piccys and adore him.. and i still get all excited when i hear his voice.

Im not asking for much, i dont want a piece of him or whatever but i wouldnt give to just sit and look at him. That man is beautiful!

Well, My 2 sisters are 23 and 21 which are big fans (not as big a fan as I am though), My sister was a fan first, she was about 13.
I remember back in '98, the same question was brought up, that Prince didn’t have too many young fans, however, at that time,
My sisters were 14, 16, and I was in my early 20's when we all went to the Vibe Show together ('98?), and to the Jam of the Year Tour.

Now, at concerts, I STILL see many young fans, I was surprised when I went to the first one of last year's tour at the Staples Center, sitting behind me was a whole role of young teen-aged girls. I had to look twice, because some looked like they were only 13(And they werent the kids taken by their parents)

And another thing I have noticed at Prince concerts, MANY beautiful women, I remember when I took a friend to one of his concerts last year, he told me he was amazed of all the gorgeous women he saw, he said he was expecting mainly people Prince's age and was truly surprised to see old people (I mean old) as well as young people, and in between. Prince can sure bring a diverse crowd together! Young, old, black, hispanic, white, asian, goth, punks, I even saw some gangsters, LOL. Long live the Brat Prince.

at 16 on my 1st day in chourus class i saw this girl and in my head played "u got the look" and then we talked and i heard the horns/bassline 2 "she spoke 2 me"....then towards the end of the year i played "pink cashmere" off a mixtape and makin her blush...

Infact, ive been so attracted to prince since i was a young age ive never found anything other than that appealing.

I am 16 and have been a huge Prince fan for years!!! I have got some of my friends to like him. There are about 6 people my age who listen to his music. So yes, there are young females who like Prince, He is the hottest man in the entire world, but of course, I do like older men! Most of my friends that listen to him, don't find him attractive like the younger girls did back in the day, but they do respect him and love his music, both old and new.
