I'm making a general mix cd for a friend and i have to put a Prince track on it. she's making me one of stuff that she is listening to (it's prolly some introspective crying music). we were chatting in a club last night about the types of music we were listening to and i mentioned Prince of course and the look of horror on her face. SO! the challenge is to show her a song that will hopefully will change her mind on the lil fella.
see i think the best Prince is always live cuz that's where he shines but i have a bunch of boots but i'm afraid live won't cut it either with her. any suggestions? | |

What kind of music does she like? Does she get moved by lyrics? Then I would give her If I was your girlfriend Does she like dancable tracks? Then I would give her Get Loose! the remix of Loose! One of the best live songs I think Prince recorded is It's gonna be a beautiful night off of SOTT. Or the Ride off of Crystal Ball. Good luck choosing one of him many great songs!  | |

It was fucking hillarious in work the other day, i was chatting to a girl and i thought i would bite the bullet and ask if she liked prince in hope she would look at me with bright eyes and say "i love him" or something along those lines, alas her words were "what the singer guy, yea he is ok". | |

Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. I don't really know any other Prince fans, but most people I know like Kiss, Gold and 7. So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young? | |
