As a big Guns n Roses and Velvet Revolver fan, I was blown away when the guys came on stage to the strains of Controversy. Damn I knew those beats sounded familiar before the riff started. Very cool indeed.

And Duff said once that in the Guns N Roses tour they used to hear lots of different music before goign on stage, and he cited Prince as one of the things they used to hear.

Now imagien the scene, Slash, Axl, IZzy, Duff and MAtt all in their bad boys persona listening to kiss before they hit the stage, hehe

i'm surprised to hear slash has covered peach with rod stewart as he said he dressed like a fucking fag after prince blanked him at an awards show (or more realistically, walked past slash without saying anything, which slash seemed to find offensive!). i'm presuming rod wanted to cover the song and slash basically had to learn it etc. or maybe he likes the song how do i ffucking now?

in the last "mojo" magazine,there is a small bit about Duff.
Duff list's his favorite 5 albums,he placed 1999 as his #1.

He was so offended cause he loves Prince, if he didn't care for Prince he wouldn't be so pissed. Maybe he was expecting a small talk with Prince, with him saying "hey you rule on sweet child" but the man didnt even looked to him. It's like a disapponted fan.

Yea ditto big gunners fan myself, saw revolver in glasgow last year they were fuckin amazin. Although they didnt come on to any prince. HATS OFF TO SALSH (did u see what i did there).
