just a moment of Midnight venting...

I have only been here around a month and I enjoy it BIG TIME...But..Let the people change...
I hear the Prince whining.."I want the old prince back" "when he gets over this JW thing" "maybe when he dumps Mani" etc etc.
and
then there is the Vanity "trading one drug for another", "her addiction is now religion" etc etc.
and "Dez Dickerson ONLY does christian music now " plus
alot of other stuff that WE and I do say WE wish the Minneapolis family would do..
I hope people don't look at me and say "He was sooo much cooler in 86" or "maybe if he dumps his wife, he will be the Party-Funk" we knew and loved.
I think we all hope that people are enjoying us for who we are in the here and now, so...
LET PRINCE AND THE OTHERS FROM THE MINNEAPOLIS SCENCE GROW UP TOO..

It's not 1984 anymore it's not even 1999...we change...let them and enjoy seeing who they become, I think its interesting and if you don't dig it...you can still post it cause that's what the org is 4..

I agree. I mean, we all LOVE the "old" Prince, but we wouldn't love him & his music so much if it wasn't for him constantly changing and evolving.
