Prince absolutely ruined the great love song "Damn U" by throwing in that stupid thing with the reporter at the end instead of making a seperate segue. What is the point of having these "segues" anyway?! Am I the only one that got pissed by this?!

as a general rule, i really don't like segues on any album. i think it's a better idea in theory than in practice and i find it always messes with the flow of the music for me. and it doesn't help that most of the segues on that album involve kirstie alley.

How can you say that the segue ruined the song? Didn't you already throw up at hearing "Like animals just born to breed, come to think about you baby you're my only need"?

That's on a par with the surgery line in I Love U In Me!

prince is strange and he does strange things but that album kicks ass.

and Outros

no album needs them and they just annoyingly mess up the flow of music
but I guess some people like 'em so oh well

I love this song, and because of that, I made a copy of the track and faded out the end before the segue starts. I've had to do that with a few Prince tunes.

All the lil bits of Prince's (and often Janet Jackson's) albums like the intros, segues etc are often parts I like because not enough artists are creative enough to come up with anything outside of the songs... But then I'll happily bitch about The Wedding Feast! That shouldn't even be listed as a track. Actually, it shouldn't be anything.
