A Love Bizzare Anyone know the release date and where it peaked in the charts. I know it was released in 1985 after America and before Kiss.

It was the #83 single of 1986. Released sometime in 1985 (I think the first single, "Sister Fate," was released in July or August), "Love Bizarre" peaked at #11 in March '86.
Sorry I can't find any more specifics. If I do, I'll edit my post. edit: that's US Pop charts, by the way [Edited 2/16/05 20:36pm]

I downloaded a 3:48 version off napster yonks ago and subsequently burned it on cd as part of my favourite 69 track, 4 Disc Prince compilation (check this link) > http://www.prince.org/msg/7/134472 Theres also a truely great live version they did on a Sheila E concert video they showed on Super channel way back in 1987 in the UK.

It's on 'in Romance 1600', which you can still buy pretty easily (I even got mine in HMV, and Sheila really isn't known in the UK other than by Prince fans. Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/exe...0000073RQ/ Don't worry, I can't get pregnant - my ovaries are diseased......

I looooove this cut!! It always remind me of the girl I was crazy in love with at the time.
I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

A Love Bizarre was recorded over a couple of months during the Purple Rain tour (from December 1984 to February 85) at the Cheshire Music Studios in sunshiny Atlanta Georgia. It was released on Sheila E.'s "Romance 1600" album on August 26, 1985 - promoted as a single and entered the Billboard charts on October 19th, 1985. I always loved that song and the video too! "All of me give 2 thee down at your feet ...
The reassurance in your rhythm speaks 2 me." -------------------------------------------------------- "I wanna hold U, wrap U up in lace. And I wanna kiss U, kiss U all over your face."

I think it was only fair that since Sheila was uncredited on "Erotic City" that Prince was uncredited on "A Love Bizarre".

Each was given credit for the other's song in the small print, but not as the official artist. "A Love Bizarre" is a track by Sheila E, not 'Sheila E featuring Prince'.
