The craziest time u heard a Prince song playing.. A funny thing just happened...Im was sitting here watching the news when a clip came on about making makeup permanent and how there was this "Eyelash Extension" procedure to make eyelashes longer and fuller permanently...tell me why the news had "Kiss" playing in the background?
So this raises my next Can u remember the craziest time you heard a prince song playing and thought 'what the hell'? &

I was in an Italy 4 a weekend (I'm from England) 4 a Ultimate Frisbee tounament in the summer and had poped down the road to a supermarket shopping 4 some breakfast and I heard a song I recognised, very quietly playing over the tanoy system...it was Musicology!!
What was also odd was the band they had on sat nite was a Bowie covers band, singing in English (even though the singer could bearly put an English sentence 2gether!)

When I saw rednecks going crazy over Prince during the "Purple Rain" era. Just one year earlier, some of the same rednecks had come to school one Monday morning talking about him like a dog when they got their first glimpse of him on "Solid Gold". Andy is a four letter word.

back in 1994 just before the black album was officially released
I was in the supermarket at the fresh food isle, absentmindedly fumbling some courgettes when "Rockhard in a Funky Place" burst from the speakers. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Another interesting memory from back when Prince was good but what does this have to do with the thread?

Just recently, in New York, around West 4th, two bums on a corner looking for "donations" - one started singing "Purple Rain." I couldn't believe it!

Back in the late eighties you could hear the local radio station play Cindy C. alot. I loved when it would come on! I was estatic when WB finally released it.

Also...I was coming out of the movie theatre, we had just finished seeign "The Grudge" so I was pretty spooked when suddenly The Time's "Jungle Love" started blasting...it was so funny and my friend who knows Im insane over Prince and anything related to him starts screaming with laughter. I had just finished saying to her, "Everywhere I go Prince music follows me!" ealier in the day when we were in Virgin music store and Prince was playing. &

This wasn't me who saw it, but three years ago while my brother was in line for Spiderman at Universal Studios, a guy hopped on a prop in the middle of the room and belted out Purple Rain. My brother said it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen. Everytime I comb my hair
