This is actually one of my favorite tracks on MUSICOLOGY... I bet if Prince had decided to release it in the same way he released EROTIC CITY, as a B-Side, it would've been an instant cult classic. This one calls to mind many of his other killer b's:

Really? I like it. It actually is the first song on Musicology that my boyfriend listened to where he was like "Wow. Prince is pretty good". And he is far from a die hard Prince fan.
And Emancipation and New Power Soul are totally underrated! | |

Upon first listen of the song, I didn't like it. I now consider it one of the BEST on Musicology. Very funky song..especially the raw guitar licks. |

THIS is a very generally ignorant statement. However, to your merit, this IS just your opinion. I, for one, hate most all of the songs in the Top 40 these days, but I love the fun nature of ICP&C. I agree. I dislike most of the music in the top 40, but ICP&C is a great track. Especially the 40 second guitar break at the end played high up the frets. Funky. Rob. | |

This song straight out of the Emancipation/Newpower Soul puke-fest. Now I kinda like Newpower Soul, in the same way I like Lolly, Big Fun and Milli Vanilli - I like the crapness. But ICP&C is just a horrid, horrid 'song' - There are often many comments about it on forums like .org, about it being "funky" and such out of date buzz-words as "off da hook", "da bomb" and other such phrases. I'm here to inform you, ICP&C is a horrid track, it represents EVERYTHING that is bad about Prince's output since the mid-90s. The people who like ICP&C are the people who love Top 40 music circa-now. Show your DISTAIN for this awful, awful song - show your support for it too if you enjoy being seen as the chimp that you are!
