It would be impossible to find a perfect match for Prince. Someone's always going to be either too tall, too short, too dark, too light, too masculine, too feminine, etc. No one on the face of the planet could match Prince's eyes either, except Linda Gray (Sue Ellen Ewing from "Dallas") and she's a female and much older so her eyes don't have the appeal they used to.

I remember Prince with the afro very well. Even if someone black played Prince, they still would be wearing wigs throughout the movie because Prince's hairstyles were constantly changing. Esai may be hispanic but does have a slight resemblance. Of course he would have to be made-up heavily.

Waaayyy too feminine. Prince is feminine but this guy almost looks like a woman. Those plucked eyebrows would have to go.

the guy from SNL and "A Night at the Roxbury" i think his name is Chris Kattan. of course this movie would then have to be a comedy, but I would love to see him learn how to dance and made to look like Prince. He's so short and cute!!

My vote for Phil Lamarr. I just saw an old Mad Tv episode where he was
"The Artist Formerly Known as the Prince Of Egypt". It was hilarious!!

I don't think they should pic someone from Hollywood.

A good actor would just kind of make the story seem less authentic.

Elijah Wood - he's already done the height thing, he's got feminine eyes and... well, I can't think of any other reasons, but i'm sure there are some.
