Bearded CLAM and other misnomers.... .
We've all done it. Listenned to a Prince lyric and hillariously misunderstood it. I have three: I used to think (mind you I was 12) that Raspberry Berret was Raspberry PARADE. "She wore a Raspberry Parade--the kind U find in a second stand store" And from ERotic City: "Punksta-Cramy human jive, Nuerotic See me Come alive." And from New Position: "Cotton-head, lemme do ya...Cotton-head, what do ya on?" OH, Shit--the list goes on and on. . [Edited 2/21/05 11:16am]

I found out it was "Beret" when I saw the title on one of those "street sheets" printed up by a local radio station. Anyway, here are some more misunderstood lyrics (by me, at least): In "Paisley Park": Whoever said that leopards were stronger than mules? In "Kiss": Hey no particular sign o' mokum pacta bull whip In "Thieves In The Temple": Fusses from the skies, they rely on yo bear's friend 2 pool u thru [Edited 2/21/05 12:40pm] Don't hate me 'cause I'm NOT beautiful
