If you could meet Prince... If you could meet and hang out with Prince in the past what year or era would it be? For me it would be 86-89. Ofcourse I was just starting kindegarden then but if I was this age now I would love to spend a day with him during this time. He was so creative during this era and seemed to not care about being this Purple Rain guy anymore. He was just into jamming and exploring funk, jazz and other types of music. I am not saying I dislike the Purple Rain era at all, I love it and he made great music back then but he was so pop and commercial and I don't think it would be cool to hang out with Superstar MTV Prince It would be cool to hang out with just a Minneapolis musician who is such a creative indiviual, he seemed more down to earth then. Oh and he was slutty back then too. Being a girl that would be a big plus for me, I would be decked out in full make up, false lashes, short skirt and black stockings fer sure!  | |

1993-99
He pretty much lost me during these years. I mean, D&P was cool and all, but I was more into the R&B groups and Hip Hop and not Prince. Then the name change thing really alienated me further as a fan. Kinda like the "lost years" for me that I'm now trying to find out more about. | |
