Why wasn't Prince there to accept his aware? Where the f*** was Prince tonight? I didn't see the E! special, but it suggests that he was actually there.

i just don't understand why people cannot be happy that the brotha at least won a couple of awards and got recognition tonight. i honestly don't need to see his face or hear 'im give an acceptance speech to make that fact hit home, and neither should any of you. we all know what he looks like anyway. | |

Ever since the U2's Joshua Tree beat out Sign 'O' The Times in '88 4 album of the year, Prince has said he doesn't care much 4 these type of awards (choosing an artists work over another), so that's y he probably only shows up at events where he's not nominated, or he only performs, or a like an award of recognition (lifetime achievement, r&r hall of fame). | |
