....blew it by not attending the Grammy Awards? You honestly think that his appearance would've sold more albums? Did his appearance in 1988 make Lovesexy multi-platinum? He would have came, made his usual acceptance speech which would have further alienated the "Usher/Kanye/Alicia" crowd, and where would Musicology be? Certainly not in the top ten, that's for sure. Just be happy the man won any awards at all. At least with the Grammys, Prince is judged by his peers and and won awards based on his talent. With the American Music Awards, awards are given to the gimmick of the minute with the most chisled abs. Judged by a bunch of teenagers whose taste is in their mouth.
