Help the poor I know. I just posted another topic. Don't worry I'm not here to flood, but I need your knowledge right now...pretty please.
I have 2 questions. -A few years ago(I wasn't following the man at the time...not that I am now) I saw a video a made with a bunch o' girls dancing oriental style. The song was excellent, especially his vocal performance-it was extreme.(falsetto...and then really deep). He might have been wearing blue...can't remember, Does it ring any bells?Waht is it? -I am not a Prince fan. There are many songs and sounds of his I absolutely can't stand...BUT I am madly in love with Musicology.All(almost) of it. My question to you is...where do I go from here? I don't like the 80's typical sound.GEt me some funk.Some soul, some rock and what not. I like gold,purple rain,I would die 4 U,TMBGITW and other classics but the rest of the albus I usually can't stand. Any advice? TNX, A couple of ears from Italy. From your description, the video sounds like The One. You can find the song on on 1997's 'New Power Soul', which really shouldn't be your first port of call when it comes to exploring Prince's discography. Buy The Gold Experience and Sign O The Times first. Oh, and those songs you say you can't stand now, they'll soon become your favourites. That's how it works with Prince.  | |
