Just airing on the red carpet pre-Grammy show was a long interview with Prince!
(on E!) What a great way to start!!!

The interview was taped inside and had cute clips and Prince sounded so "normal" - fun - happy - excited - all that good stuff.

I'll try to transcribe what was said later tonight.

It's a happy day!

I'm in New York, watching the E! channel -- so I assume can get it in The Great White North too =)

There is also another pre-show special on "the tv guide channel" but it seems to be chat with people that walk the red carpet - it isn't prince's style to chit-chat with joan rivers and her daughter.

I think it was an old interview from last year.

Andy, since it's live and he's already been on, we have to wait for the repeat which doesn't happen until early early tomorrow morning.

it's a 3 hour show sammi-- prince is in the beginning of it, so dont have to sit through the whole show. i did see booty collins dressed out in leapord and hat too - also george clinton the camera showed. no interview though with them.

Tape the whole actual grammys though - u never know when the kid and mani will pop up!
