I recently heard an alternative version of this song which was pretty funky too and was interested to hear the same melody riff as in Musicology...the part at the end. Listening to outtakes its intriguing how certain riffs and sounds are reused years later in different songs.....remember The Max and Rave Un 2 The Joy Fantastic?
Its pretty cool though, its like his songs are all linked in some ways as if a code!!
